Kaede was born on 11/27/2019 at Akiyama no Roushya's Kennel. While he isn't as nice as my co-owned female, he is still a great example of the breed. Kaede has his AKC Certificate of Merit title, becoming the first ever Kishu Ken to earn it, and has earned his  UKC Champion title. He is a wonderful sport dog, and we compete in FCAT, CAT, Barn Hunt, and will be attempting weight pull as well! He is currently halfway to his ASFA Lure Chasing Instinct title and halfway to his ASFA Lure Chasing Champion title. He also has one qualifying pull with UKC for his UWP wight pull title.
Kaede has had OFA testing completed (Thyroid, Eyes, Patellas, Cardiac, Hips, Elbows, and Dentition) and has come back normal, and has his CHIC certification. We would like to get Pennhip done as well.
